Munich Quantum Valley promotes the early-career exchange between students of quantum-science-and-technology master courses and quantum-tech companies through its industrial-internships program.

Note that the decision about which applicant is selected for a given internship will be made by the industrial partners or the Fraunhofer institutes offering the respective internship.

Infineon Technologies AG – Quantum algorithms for combinatorial optimization in a semiconductor supply chain
At the Supply Chain Innovation department at Infineon Technologies AG you will explore the potential of quantum computers in the applied field of optimization problems. In a small team, you will find mathematical models for optimization problems in Infineon's supply chain, apply current methods for quantum algorithms solving these, and develop further algorithm extensions.
