Quantum dreams and spaces for the future

MQV is a partner in the joint project Quanten(t)räume – a play of German word quantum spaces and quatum dreams – funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). Starting next Tuesday, the project will offer regular opportunities to find out about the state of research in the field of quantum technologies, ask questions to the experts and contribute your own ideas for useful applications.

The partners in the network are the Deutsches Museum, the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics with the PhotonLab, the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI, the Technoseum (State Museum of Technology and Labour in Mannheim), the student initiative PushQuantum, the Munich Center for Quantum Science and Technology (MCQST), the quantum start-up IQM and the Munich Quantum Valley (MQV).

For a good six months, the experts from the joint partners have been working together to develop a coordinated outreach concept for the application potential of quantum technologies and the first "Quantendienstag" (quantum Tuesday) will now take place on 6 August at 2 pm in the auditorium in the entrance hall of the Deutsches Museum.
