YOUR MISSION
As Detector & Nanofabrication Quality Control Engineer you will work in close collaboration with our fabrication team. Your role includes thin film analysis using XRR, AFM, Reflectometer, Ellipsometer and other tools as well as the detectors themselves (efficiency, jitter, ..). Here, it will be critical to provide prompt feedback during fabrication as well as perform quality control right after. This will ensure that we can provide a high standard to our customers. Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare (bonding), Measure & Analyze in compact cryostat
- Support thin film analytics including XRR, Ellipsometer, AFM, ..
- Organize and log sample storage & data
- Close the loop between fabrication and characterization
- Operating optical setups & handling fibers

YOUR PROFILE
You are a motivated and experienced physicist or engineer with a passion for quantum technology, opto-electronics and analysis tools. Your technical expertise, combined with profound know-how and a strong engagement in a collaborative team, enables you to develop innovative solutions. Experience:
- PhD or master's degree in Physics, Nanotechnology, or similar
- At least 2 years of professional experience, ideally in quantum technology, the semiconductor industry, or nanodevices
- Hands-on experience with measurement techniques and development projects is essential
- With cryostats, thin film analytics & python
- Conceptualizing, conducting experiments and able to prioritize
YOU ARE
- An independent & agile mind with a lot of self-initiative
- An excellent worker eager to learn new things
- Highly motivated and committed
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
