YOUR MISSION 

As a Cryogenic Systems Engineer, you will develop, integrate, and optimize cryostat systems, ensuring high-performance operation for quantum detection technology. You will handle CAD design, system integration, mechanical production coordination, and procurement, maintaining high standards of precision and organization. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Design and manage CAD drawings, organize mechanical production, and oversee component integration into cryostats.
  • Prepare setups, solder electrical components (mainly DC wiring), and manage procurement and supplier coordination.
  • Perform cryostat performance measurements, provide system development consultation, and execute quick prototyping tasks.
  • Maintain an organized inventory of hardware components and CAD files.

YOUR PROFILE 

You are a hands-on physicist or engineer with experience in cryogenic and vacuum systems. Your systematic and precise work ensures clean cryostat usage, organized data storage, and efficient project planning. 

Experience & Skills: 

  • Master’s Degree in related field (min. 2 years in a related field).
  • Expertise in cryogenic systems, electronics (RF, DC wiring), and fundamental physics (thermodynamics, fiber optics).
  • CAD and mechanical component design experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in workshop machining is a plus.
  • Basic Python knowledge is a bonus. 

Previous experience is beneficial but secondary to your personal motivation and commitment to this fascinating project!
