1E9 and the Deutsches Museum are jointly hosting the Festival of the Future . In the "Forum of the Future" on the Museum Island, visitors can spend three days discussing ideas and technologies for a better future with researchers, start-ups, founders, investors and artists.
Munich Quantum Valley will also be present with a booth, together with our partner, the Munich Center for Quantum Science and Technology. Visit us there to learn more about quantum computing in Bavaria!
In addition, members of MQV participate in two panel discussions:
- July 6, 16:00–16:50 – Beyond NISQ – How to harness the potential of quantum computers
- July 7, 15:20–16:10 – Building an Industry – How to create a quantum valley
Furthermore, Alexander Glätzle, CEO of planqc, the first start-up to emerge from MQV, will give a keynote speech:
- July 6, 15:30–15:50 – Unleashing quantum computing with ultracold atoms
On Saturday, admission is free for everyone! On this day, you can not only learn about quantum computing and the basics of quantum physics at our booth, but also have the opportunity to learn more about the world of quanta and their application in cryptography in three different workshops (in German language) with hands-on experiments, hosted by QL3 and PhotonLab:
- July 8, 11:00–12:40 – Quantenphysik zum Anfassen: der Quantenkoffer-Workshop – Open workshop
- July 8, 13:30–15:30 – Quanten? Kryptographie? Erste Schritte in die Quantenwelt – Open workshop for families
- July 8, 16:00–17:00 – Quantenkryptographie – Wie funktioniert das? (with pre-registration)
To book a seat at a workshop with pre-registration, you must register on the festival's site. You can then use your account to register for events with a limited number of participants. On Saturday, PhotonLab will also present the second episode of "Alice im Quantenland," an audio drama series for young and old (in German language):
- July 8, 12:00–12:45 – Live audio play Alice im Quantenland – Einstein und das Fußballmatch
