Visit us 5–7 May at the "FORSCHA" at Deutsches Museum Verkehrszentrum!

As part of the Münchner Wissenschaftstage (Munich Science Days), the FORSCHA will be held 5–7 May at the Deutsches Museum Verkehrszentrum on the Tersienhöhe in Munich.

This year we are again participating with a booth. Together with our partners from the Munich Center for Quantum Science and Technology (MCQST) and the PhotonLab, we will give interested visitors of all ages an exciting insight into the world of quantum technologies. With hands-on experiments, abstract quantum phenomena become tangible. The Fraunhofer Gesellschaft will also be present with several institutes and a wide range of topics, including experiments and demonstrations on quantum computing.

In addition to our booth, other highlights will also be offered: The radio play "Alice in Quantum Land" goes into the second round and will be performed with both parts and our scientists will give exciting lectures in the field of quantum computing (audioplay and talks are in german):

  • 6 May, 14:00-15:15 – Prof. Dr. Steffen Glaser - Quantum mechanics hands-on: Of nuclear spins, quantum bits and quantum computers
  • 7 May, 11:00-11:40 – Double Feature: Live Radio Play "Alice in Quantum Land: A Cat Named Schrödinger"
  • 7 May, 12:00-13:00 – Dr. Judith Gabel - The world of quantum sensors: How tiny particles help us measure the world
  • 7 May, 14:00-14:40 – Double feature: Live radio play "Alice in Quantum Land: Einstein and the soccer match".
  • 7 May, 15:00-16:00 – Prof. Dr. Barbara Kraus - Why is everyone talking about quantum computers?

Come and visit us - Admission is free!
