Deutsches Museum, Museumsinsel 1, Munich

On 22 and 23 February, Munich Quantum Valley will take part in the Quantum Weekend at the Deutsches Museum. Explore the fascinating world of quantum physics, learn about quantum technologies and their relevance for society, and celebrate with us the 2025 International Year of Quantum!

On 22 and 23 February, you can experience a weekend full of quantum science and quantum technology at the Deutsches Museum. With guided tours through the special exhibition “Light & Matter”, public talks, insights into the daily life and work of quantum researchers on site, live presentations of the audio series “Alice im Quantenland”, and hands-on demonstrations and experiments, you can choose from a variety of activities to learn about quantum physics and its applications.

Munich Quantum Valley will participate in the event to welcome visitors of all ages who are particularly interested in quantum computing. At the MQV booth, you can learn what exactly quantum computers are and how they could be used in the future. Components of a real quantum computer make the abstract topic tangible, and the quantum eraser experiment offers insights into the fundamentals of quantum physics, which are also the basis for quantum computing.

The event, organized by the Munich Center for Quantum Science and Technology, is free and takes place in and around the auditorium of the Deutsches Museum, Museumsinsel 1.
