The IdeaLab Quantum is a workshop format from the TUM Venture Lab Quantum supporting Ph.D.s and postdocs with translating their research into commercial use cases to leverage scientific expertise for societal benefits.
This two-day interactive workshop on 21 and 28 October provides participants with the knowledge and skills to identify relevant application areas of their academic work and set up a research-based startup:
- Dissecting research into its core technologies and identifying commercial use cases
- Learning how to launch a deep tech startup
- Practice communicating your solution and its benefits to non-technical audiences
Participants will also have the opportunity to:
- Work on their idea with a small team
- Hear from experts in the field of entrepreneurship
- Meet founders and learn about their entrepreneurial journey
